Rockport Marine is pleased to announce our partnership with David Jones Yacht Brokerage, effective July 5, 2016.
In his sixteen years of business, David Jones has earned a worldwide reputation for excellence as a broker of classic wooden yachts. He makes a point of learning as much as he can about the condition of the boats he lists in order to accurately represent his listings to prospective buyers. Both his steadfast devotion to his clients and his appreciation of the yachts he lists are well known throughout the industry. For some time both businesses have considered the possibility of joining forces as we have much in common. We are both committed to making the experience of boat ownership and eventual transfer as enjoyable as possible for all involved. We hope the addition of a brokerage office at Rockport Marine adds value for our customers.
David will continue to be actively involved in this venture for at least a full year. He will be working closely with Evelyn Smith, with the goal of her becoming the primary face of the brokerage. We are fortunate to have recruited Evelyn for this work. She is a smart and able mariner with solid experience in some of the world’s finest yachts. We look forward to this venture with great hope and optimism, and we hope you will find it both a valuable asset and worthy of your support.
