Our designers have some great ideas on the drafting table that are waiting to come to fruition. This most recent concept – a 65′ yawl – is too pretty not to share. She’s a Spirit of Tradition yacht intended for coastal cruising and racing in occasional classic yacht regattas.

Above the waterline her long overhangs, low sweeping sheer and varnished cabin house harkens back to a previous generation when beauty was an imperative in yacht design. Below the water line a moderate fin keel and skeg hung rudder coupled with her robustly built cold-molded hull offer a fast and stable platform for cruising and racing alike.

The large cockpit, with sail handling concentrated aft near the wheel, allows plenty of separate space for those just relaxing.
