Courageous is a Sparkman & Stephens designed sloop, built by the Henry B. Nevins Inc. yacht builders in the Bronx, NY. All of her hardware was built in the United States and she has been excellently maintained. The boat has had two owners in it’s lifetime. The survey on file states that the boat is a “museum piece of fine American yacht design and building”. This is a boat in excellent condition, with a charismatic pedigree looking for a new home.

The boat is double-carvel planked with 5/8 Mahogany and 3/8 Port Orford Cedar. She has silicon bronze screw fastenings that are noted to be in great condition. Her frames are 1 3/4 Oak. Please reach out for the full survey.
