Over the course of two winters, Rockport Marine replaced the bulwarks, caprails, sheer strakes, covering boards, and bottom planks of SAYONARA. The cross sectional shape of the caprails was improved, and a new stemhead fitting incorporating the bow chocks, guide rollers for the anchor rodes, and passages for hydraulic hoses serving the headsail furler was designed and fabricated in house.

All of her hardware was rechromed. Formerly SEAFLOWER, SAYONARA is a 1956 50-foot keel centerboard yawl designed by Aage Nielson of Boston and built by Paul Luke of East Boothbay, Maine.
