ARABESQUE was designed by Fontaine Design Group for cruising New England and day sailing in Long Island Sound.  She has a cold-molded wooden hull, teak over plywood deck and wooden cabin and cockpit structures. The rig is carbon fiber by Offshore Spars with in boom furling and twin roller furling head stays including a large genoa for the light air of Long Island Sound. Arabesque’s sail handing can be done by push button from the helm with a hydraulically controlled main sheet, 2 speed electric winches, hydraulic roller furling, hydraulic backstay and outer forestay, and electric boom furling. With a fin keel and bow thruster Arabesque is easily handled in the harbor. For comfort she is equipped with a 5.5Kw genset, full galley, refrigeration, heat and air conditioning. Below Arabesque is finished with South American Mahogany and polished stainless steel. Besides her woodwork all fabrication and systems work was done by Rockport Marine.
