Price reduced to $179,000 through June 10, 2017
If Nirvana does not sell before June 10, 2017 in New Zealand, the owners will be sailing the boat back to the United States. A new Mainsail was purchased for that delivery.
The 64’ cutter-rigged Nirvana is a first-rate classic yacht, elegantly drawn by John Alden, robustly constructed with ironwood below the waterline and splined rosewood for the topsides over oak frames, dynel sheathed and all fastened with 7/16 copper rivets. She was extensively and expensively refurbished between 2006 -2008 including modern racing spars, an all-new interior, new plumbing, wiring, and engine. She has been maintained to the highest standards since. She comes equipped with all the cruising accoutrements without sacrificing her head-turning appeal. While the exterior is mostly painted in a practical white, the interior boasts teak and holly soles, elaborate mahogany joinery and an overall high standard of fit and finish. As boat-builders and experienced sailors, the present owners are completely conversant regarding every aspect of the vessel.
